Jun Li, R. TCMP, R. Ac.
Jun Li is a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Ontario, with nearly 20 years of prior clinical experience as a physician in China, including a post as Director of the Emergency Department at Chongqing People's Hospital (1997–2017). She holds a Master of Medicine from Chongqing Medical University and trained as a formal disciple of Professor Zhangjun Ni, becoming a successor of the Lingnan Luo Gynecology school, a respected lineage focused on infertility, menstrual disorders, and recurrent miscarriage prevention.
This background gives Jun Li a dual lens on reproductive health: years of frontline Western medical judgment paired with a TCM diagnostic tradition built specifically around women's fertility. Where many practitioners arrive at fertility support through acupuncture training alone, Jun Li's diagnostic approach is shaped by two decades of managing acute and chronic conditions in a hospital setting, which she brings to bear when assessing the underlying patterns behind conditions like PCOS/PMOS and endometriosis.
Jun Li also teaches Traditional Chinese Medicine Gynecology at a college in Ontario, a role that keeps her treatment methods anchored in current research alongside classical theory. She sees acupuncture as most effective when it works alongside, not instead of, assisted reproductive technologies, supporting patients through IVF and IUI cycles as well as natural conception. Her practice also extends to pain management, cosmetic acupuncture, and acupuncture-assisted weight management.
Jun Li is delighted to bring her practice to Total Wellness Centre. She treats every patient with warmth and patience, taking the time to listen closely before building a treatment plan around their specific needs. For Jun Li, few things are more rewarding than drawing on both her Eastern and Western medical training in her professional acupuncture practice to support a patient through one of the most meaningful journeys of their life, and she looks forward to walking alongside Total Wellness Centre's patients on that path.
