Case #1
Female patient (SB) was 37 years old with no children. She came to us having had one miscarriage. She had a history of irregular periods and had been using birth control for 10 years. She had been trying to conceive for 10 months.
SB began treatments at Total Wellness Centre in October of 2008. She attended at our clinic for three months, twice a week for acupuncture and was prescribed custom herbal prescriptions over that period.
SB became pregnant in January 2009 naturally.
Case #2
Female patient (LV) was 37 years old with one child. She previously had two miscarriages. She had a history of pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS). She had been trying to conceive for seven months.
LV began treatments at Total Wellness Centre in April 2008. She attended our clinic receiving acupuncture up until 32 weeks gestation.
LV became pregnant in April 2008 naturally.

Female patient (ET) was 40 years old with no children. She had a history of one miscarriage and had attempted two IUI's, one IVF. She also had a fibroid removed, and her partner had male factor infertility. She had been trying to conceive for 13 months.

Female patient (AS) was 34 years old. She had a history of two miscarriages, had severe anxiety. Her husband had male factor infertility and a history of cancer. She had been trying to conceive for nearly two year.
AS began treatments at Total Wellness Centre in February 2008. She attended our clinic twice a week for one month for acupuncture treatments.
AS became pregnant via IUI in March 2008.
Case #14
Female patient (AA) was 29 years old with no children. She had a history of an ectopic pregnancy and had one removed tube. She had a blocked tube, thin uterine lining and ovarian cysts. She had been on birth control for 8 yrs and had attempted to 2 IVFs.
AA began treatments at Total Wellness Centre in April 2009.
AA became pregnant in July 2009, naturally, after being told by her fertility specialist that IVF was her only option!
Case #15
Female patient (OR) was 30 years old. She had a history of irregular periods. Her partner had male factor infertility with poor sperm DNA fragmentation at 33% and poor fertility potential.
OR started treatments at Total Wellness Centre in March 2009. She attended our clinic for four months and took only herbs.
OR became pregnant in June 2009.
Case#16
Female patient (TS) was 41 years old. She had a history of two miscarriages and had tried 9 IVFs unsuccessfully.
TS began treatments at Total Wellness Centre in August 2008.
TS became pregnant with IVF and acupuncture in September 2008. Total Wellness Centre recommended herbs to help prevent miscarriage, but patient refused. Unfortunately, the patient miscarried at 6 weeks.
TS returned to Total Wellness Centre in April 2009. She became pregnant in May 2009 and was given herbs until she reached 12 weeks gestation.

Female patient (TE) was 43 years old with two children. She had a history of three miscarriages and had high FSH. She had attempted 5 IUI's and 3 IVFs.
TE began treatments at Total Wellness Centre in May 2007. She attended the clinic for 10 months, twice a week for acupuncture and had herbs also.
TE became pregnant in March 2008 via IVF.
Case #18
Female patient (HF) was 32 years old with no children. She had a history of two miscarriages and had a blood disorder.
HF began treatments at Total Wellness Centre in September 2008. She attended the clinic for 11 months, twice a week for acupuncture, and was prescribed herbs. For the first five months, treatments concentrated on the blood disorder. The following six months of treatment, commencing February 2009 were specifically geared towards fertility.
HF became pregnant in July 2009, naturally.

Male patient (TH) was 46 years old and had no children. He had lymphoma at age 15 and had extensive chemotherapy at the time. He came to us with a low sperm count. He and his partner had unsuccessfully tried Invitro fertilization (IVF) three times and intrauterine insemination (IUI) once. He and his partner had been trying to conceive since 1999.
